it's not always crucial.
What a soul

"Love you will find only where you may show yourself weak without provoking strength." ~Theodor Adorno

Have you been feeling down lately?
Is it because of work?
Being in a situation where you felt unappreciated? ....

Damn, those words in brown get on my nerves as they're like an advertisement jibe.
With the "high" times come the "low" times and that's life! Face it. Some people just don't give a thought in what you did backstage, but they care only what you had brought onstage. When the commodity proved pathetic (to them), along with the bombardment of shortcomings, do you feel hurt?

The amount of work towards the completion seemed to amount to naught as the confidence and beliefs in oneself just went POOF! So that piece of work wasn't worth anything in their eyes. In fact, it proved pathetic/pitiful/ridiculous to them.
But what did it prove to you?
It proved that they cared.

I might not make sense, but be it themselves or you they're caring for, they actually cared. So when they do stop pointing out your mistakes, they stop blabbering, that's when they stop caring for you. It took a while for me to understand that it's not always crucial for everyone to observe how hard I work at something. That's when the element of surprise kicks in! Give yourself a pat on the shoulder, a self-acknowledgement, when you know you had done well. I know you have.

A soul came across the hollow in me, but I raised the bark instead.
Then, the soul was not seen again.
